Decided I wanted to watch some out of market MLS games and they had a 30 day free trial going. So I said, hey, why not?

The streaming quality was solid although I would prefer they had an app for my smart TV. Maybe that will come.

Anyway, I'm hoping for some solid college content on there in the Fall. While I wouldn't be interested in most G5 games on a typical Saturday, I get the feeling that some conferences will be encouraged to have their games on the service in order to pump up subs.

The RSNs won't be in the fold until next year...neither will the ACCN. It might be a nice way to boost the service in its early days and get fans used to having to go to a streaming service to get games they might be interested in.
I also signed up. I'm using Chromecast to stream it to my TV. Watched an MLS game and a couple of 30 for 30s so far.

I may have to look at Chromecast or possibly Amazon Fire.

Most of the standard streaming services had an app on my TV when I bought it. I was hoping ESPN would follow suit and maybe they will when they build a bit more steam.
Why is ESPN adding new channels when they have officially run out of content? Both ESPN and ESPN2 are showing the same women's softball game right now.

That is because Rain and Lightening knocked out the venues at Florida, Texas A&M and Alabama for over 6 hours today with those games having been scheduled in overlapping time slots on the various channels. ESPN has some clout, but Mother Nature has the final say!

I watch MLS out-of-market. I will watch AState in the Sun Belt baseball tournament later this week.
My nephew is apparently binging the old Indy 500's for reasons known only to him.

I can't bear to watch a race in progress much less an old one.

I've been binging the 30 for 30s. It's worth the price for them IMO.
I know that this in P5 discussion forums but the A-10 just signed a deal involving games with ESPN+.
