Understand Larry Luster ( Cajun Eagle ) passed away. He was a fixture on many USM boards and an avid supporter of USM, even though I don't think he was an alum. Nice guy.

How sad. His contributions will be missed. Best wishes to his family.
If IIRC how he explained it, as a resident of Baton Rouge, he wanted another school to follow simply because he found living in the LSU bubble to be insufferable.
I looked up his obituary in the Baton Rouge paper hoping for more details, but there was only a funeral notice that said "he passed away peacefully."
