Tomorrow is One Tribe One Day. I know most of you contribute in one way or another to the university, but I urge everyone to consider giving to the department that is special to them on April 10th.

Men's basketball is special to me, but you can search for any category.

If you do plan to give, wait until the 10th to help unlock special matching pledges throughout the day.
Yeah, even if it is just $25, please give. We are also looking to break the record for percentage of Alumni who give. I'll be giving to basketball and baseball.

Go Tribe!
Yes, please give. I talked with Coach Shaver about current needs. He stated that the recruiting budget is running thin because we had so many scholarships open.

If you want to help out with recruiting and you are giving above what you have already pledged, I suggest that you give to the basketball program and then under Gift Comments state that you want your money to go to this year's recruiting budget. That's what I'm going to do.
Having given to other athletics accounts more recently I will be supporting football tomorrow! This is a great annual fundraising event. I love tracking it throughout the day!

Has the summer basketball scholarship deficit been overcome?
Just donated for One Tribe One Day. Please join me! A great event. Hope we can break last year’s records.
The countdown timer when I pull up the page is at 10 hours and 40 minutes... it should be 7:50am on the East Coast right now.

Hopefully the countdown timer is working correctly for other people

I don't know where the deficit stands. What I do know is that our push and ongoing pledge payments are filling the gap. I will try to do some research on the budget line and how much money is in there. I've got a busy day, though. We are hosting the OTOD event in Bridgewater tonight. Anybody close enough to join us?
I just gave for Men’s Basketball. Go Tribe! Let’s break the record today!
when you search "basketball" the MBB Summer School fund does not come up. I found it though.

Donating to that, and to the Pep Band :)

edit: donated from Afghanistan but that isn't my billing address, so not sure it will count as an international location... lol
Seems slower this year, less than 5000 thus far.

I dont think there was as much hype leading up to today as in years past and we only got to 12.5K. Not sure the goal up to 14K total donors will be met.

I was thinking the same thing, but it is still early in the day. Guess we will see what happens. Lots of people will donate in the evening I'm sure.
Looks like the Tribe mens bball team is involved in the next video (3rd) waiting to be unlocked.

Not sure how I got signed up for this, but UVA is running #GivingToHoosDay today as well.
On a side-note, in reference to multiple prior posts about our alumni network and footprint and needing to expand our brand via Athletics (read Bball), the Green and Gold map showing the number of donations and what state they come from is quite revealing. 60% is from VA. 90% from the East Coast.
Approaching 10,000 donors at 9:15 pm (looks like finishes up midnight PDT or 3:00 am EDT) - 9,933 currently

For perspective, 2014 had 1,906 donors, 2016 had 6,078, 2017 had 10,358 and 2017 had 12,658.
