The only way to 100% prevent back-to-back rematches would be for all Big XII teams to play a non-conference game in the final week. That might not be as tough as you think, either...
Here's how it could go down:
* If WVU played Pitt, that frees up Miami to play another Big XII team.
* The Pac-12 already has one free - either USC or Stanford, whichever does NOT host Notre Dame.
* They could talk to the Big Ten about moving Iowa-Iowa State to the final weekend, in exchange for setting up Oklahoma vs. Nebraska (the benefit for the B1G: OU/NE every other year).
* Texas could play Texas A&M, which could also free up Missouri to play Kansas
* Somebody could play BYU
That's 8 teams right there. I'm sure someone can find 2 more.
