Pretty scare if so.

Quote:When pressed by detectives about the stash of guns in his room, Francho responded that “he can’t tell us what he does for work or why he has all the guns with him, but that he is down in this area working for a government agency that is dealing with a virus,” according to the report.

Francho told police that he had served as an EOD tech during his time in the military and currently works as a contractor Ensyme Engineering, which claims the Department of Energy and Centers for Disease Control as clients. He also made a number of bizarre claims regarding his public service, including a suspicious stint with the Los Angeles Police Department

This might be more strange than Paddock and the Vegas shooting.

Sounds like a nut, but I'm confused. It says the officer that suspected he may be targeting one of the "March" events came to that conclusion from the parking tickets he had on the same day and location as the March, but if that date was in the past did he change his mind or is it just an incorrect assumption by the officer?
Certainly scores of unanswered questions here.
Like why nothing happened? What was he originally picked up or under suspicion for? Did I miss that?

N/M. Read further. The nutcase called the cops on himself... lol

But did he break any laws other than the permitting thing?

The police report just says "various firearms charges."

That's a pretty vague catch all. Sounds like lazy reporting.

Can a private citizen have grenade launchers and flashbangs?

I know a private citizen can have fully auto if it's registered and submit to inspections by the ATF.

Yes, with the proper permits.
I think that's the issue. He likely did not have the required permits for Massachusetts.
