I feel like Tubby probably offered, and this is just TH announcing that he received an offer from the new staff. Given the focus of his recruitment and his importance to the class, I feel like Tubby would have offered a while back.

Because Tubby is a fraud coach, but thankfully not our problem anymore.

totally unneeded. Tubby is a good coach who simply wasn't the right fit for Memphis. You don't take 3 programs to the Sweet 16 and have an NCAA title if you're a 'fraud'.

Tubby needs to find somewhere that'll give him 3-4 years to build the program his way.

AKA Penny offered. I still don't think he's made his mind up. He has a lot to weigh....hope he suits up next year in blue though.

If true he was offered by Tubby before, he sure seems excited to be offered again by Penny.

Edit: Now that I looked through his past tweets, I see no mention of him being offered by the U of M or other schools. Harris just now mentioning that he was offered by the U of M sure is a big deal.

Tubby only went after Harris once Lomax committed to WSU. Penny has Lomax and still offered Harris just a few hours after being eligible to officially recruit. That should tell him he is wanted.

It’s a sign of respect to be offered and I’m sure Tyler Harris appreciated Penny offering it to him. Whether that means he accepts is a different matter. Lomax and Martin will play the PG next year
