Given that both Jerry Meyer and Brooks Hansen are predicting Simons yesterday makes me feel good about the possibility of landing him
Jerry Meyer and Brooks and Jonah almost always pick in unison, wouldn't read too much into it.
Simons is still showing up on most mocks in mid to late 1st round. Rare for 1st rounders to skip the draft.
Time will tell. He will probably go through the process and get feedback. If NBA people tell him he’s a 1st Rounder, I can’t imagine him passing on that. But if he slips, then it would be cool to land him!

And Simons has indicated that he will test the NBA waters without hiring an agent. So he could commit to a school, continue to the NBA combine, and have until June 11th, iirc, to pull out of the draft.
