Surprised? Mods have mods backs no matter how ****** up their moderation abilities may be. It's like that everywhere so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it's the same ******* way with this ****.

It's just made worse in this case that one ******* about complaining about mods and the **** job they do in public and asks it's done in PM but then ******* ignores PMs.

Maybe this place isn't worth ******* being a part of. If a Shocker ever creates a new board where **** can stay real I'm ******* in. Personally, I'm here for nothing but Wichita and couldn't give two ***** about any of the other boards here.

There's definitely no consistency in how rules are applied. It's especially bad when some mods troll the crap out of threads and then punish those that do anything remotely similar, even if it's to a lesser degree. We've seen that in the past with at least one AAC mod.

And it's my understanding that the one Wichita State mod that's been a mod for a number of years was stripped of his duties because he called one of the mods out on that behavior. That says about as much about how things are going to go down here as anything I would think.

Maybe fastbow and I should have followed through with the completely new board so that Shocker fans would have a place where they weren't treated as inferior citizens by those in charge. But we didn't, and this is what we have, for better or for worse.

I'm not sure when good natured ribbing turns into a serial annoyance, but on the conference board Cold went well into that transition.

Isnt that what the smack board is for? Pretty open standards in there. Seems that many more will be following if they cannot control themselves.

Somebody has to be the first to say no to escalation. You'll notice there's a new class of supermods being assembled and may not have noticed I'm adding mods to the main AAC board as well. If you're catching poo from somebody, report post. If you feel it isn't being handled properly despite using report post then PM me.

Honestly I never understood Cold's obsession with bashing the Penny hire. Most of us didn't think it was the right move, but after a while you just gotta say OK and drop it.

Can't say I disagree. One of the reasons I stopped going over there very much is because of the CONSTANT crap that gets flung by different fans yet it's most Wichita fans that have been warned and lectured.

I'm not planning on completely leaving like Angry, but I don't blame him. Angry isn't one to not speak his mind and that's apparently not welcome here if you're from Wichita. I think I'll just keep to this board and then probably get punished for calling out Memphis and their overly sensitive fan base that for one reason or another gets preferential treatment.

But I'll never make another post on that or any other board here as long as it's obvious that moderation is as bad as it is. I'm sure there are some decent cats, but the abuse of power is ridiculous and the double standards are painfully obvious.

This is the kind of crap that makes me almost consider going back to TOB just so I can talk basketball without all the crap that's dealt with here.
