"Memphis' hire looks to add some life to a program that has struggled in the latter years of the Tubby Smith regime."

The latter years of the regime? What were the earlier successful years? Do these guys not have bosses? The latter years of a 2 year stay.

I saw his tweet, and immediately thought of all the intangible benefits this hire may bring...stuff like that, which is not a huge deal in & of itself, but kids all across the country are seeing that, whether or not they care who Penny's coaching for or not. That kind of stuff is what will get us back on kids' radars across the country....along with winning, of course. 03-wink
Lebron is talking about us. Let’s go

Wow, breaking news! Hardaway considering Memphis.

Who knew? (Except everybody in America)
A few more details from Parrish.

Quote:A source told CBS Sports that the school and Hardaway began negotiations the day after Memphis lost in the AAC Tournament semifinals. The two sides reached a deal in principle last week around the same time Smith was formally terminated
Kensucky fans in panic mode. Ignorance and arrogance on full display. I love it!

Finally a decent piece from Parrish. The Verizon commercial was creepy though. Biometrics. Just say no.
