He was coaching at Romulus HS a few years ago

Very impressive run......IMHO
Wonder if it will be enough to keep him in Buffalo? I doubt it, once the P5's come calling.
Buffalo is raising the bar on the court as well. They are going to be really really good next year as well.
Just saw a segment during the UB/UK game that talked about the best / worst hoops cities in all D1 basketball rank and they mentioned Kalamazoo is 260th on the list. They made a crap-shot at it to end the segment.

Personally, I think once you get outside of the Top 20 or so, these kinds of lists fall flat because there's just so many and the authors have never visited them all. It's like when sports websites rank all 130-ish FBS teams in the pre-season. I highly doubt they follow all 130 to know enough of the team's changes during the off-season and don't even follow the vast-majority of them.

Basketball, the head coaches tend to stick around a bit longer. (More options to choose from and the coaches have a shot at winning something)

I'm scared.
Oates is gone. He can get twice that just moving up the mid major ladder

His buyout is seven figures, he's probably around for another year.

Keep in mind we were paying Hurley less and DePaul could not lure him away.
