It got me too. I don’t think people realize how much penny loves this city. His neighborhood. His loyalty is very apparent. If he’s successful, we should have him for a long time!
I grew up playing ball with Dez and a group of kids from Binghampton. Dez and that group spent many of nights and weekends with me and my family.
Dez had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. He had a smile a mile wide. He truly loved those kids and that neighborhood. He is a legend for all of the right reasons.

I dont know if Penny will be successful or not... but the dude deserves this shot. How anyone can look at his life and his “body of work” and think otherwise is beyond me. Its a fairytale story that I bet has a happy ending. Love me some Penny!
