Tubby Smith's meeting with Memphis administration has been moved to tomorrow, source told ESPN. This is starting to become a circus.
Woooooo boy. Let’s see if this one does the trick

Soon we may have a thread for each day of the week

Starting?
Just fire him. No need for a meeting.
worth the price of admission?
Somebody just said Tubby didn't show up so it was delayed again until tomorrow.
Of course it was posted (by two different posters, I believe) that the meeting happened this morning and it is all over.

This board never fails to disappoint

Lol
We need some new folks in charge over there. This is a monkey show.
So if Tubby doesn’t show up any time soon he can continue to keep his job? /s

Seeing now in other thread this was sourced from Calkins and now he's saying it's only speculation on his part. So who knows. Somebody find Tubby and put a bell on him.

How can you have any faith that an administration where the president and AD aren’t on the same page on just about anything and can’t execute an orderly firing will be able to put a solid infrastructure around someone who has never coached in college?
I couldn’t avoid this post; like the Seinfeld episode where George avoids his boss to keep from getting fired.

Why is this being blamed on Rudd and Bowen?

Is Tubby supposed to be fired without a meeting?
Just from the outside there’s two possible stories (maybe captain obvious)

A) Rudd and Bowen aren’t on the same page, Bowen wants Tubby back and Rudd wants him gone

B) The admin is actually doing the right thing by discussing in face with Tubby, except Tubby has decided to make this look like a circus on the part of the Memphis admin by not showing up to the scheduled meeting
A true clown fiesta.
100% Bowen doesn't want to fire him. Just look at his SOP and things he's said all season. No doubt.

Or a combination of the two
