unless Tillerson was adamantly opposed to this strategy or was ready to exit the position, neither do I....
however, that doesn't mean Pompeo won't do equally as well in the role....
one thing people are forgetting is DJT moves fast.....sometimes that doesn't sit well with others....
we also know that nobody that has resigned/fired from their positions has come out publicly and shamed DJT and his methodology as he moves forward.....that carries some weight too....(although, I certain somebody will find a Bannon blurb and post it.....don't care)

Posted new thread. Figured this thread wouldn't be so far down the page. As I said in the other, I liked a corporate exec with international experience instead of a politician or career diplomat in this position, so I'm disappointed he's gone.

While "Reality TV" is not always real, you couldn't have watched "The Apprentice" without getting a sense that Trump was very much a hire and fire guy. A few loyal lieutenants and then the rest are always vulnerable.
