Can all ten(if there are ten) fans of Tubby please state your case to the Memphis administration on this thread?
That way the rest of the threads are about our bright days ahead as Tiger fans NOT Tubby fans.

Oh my goodness. You stated firing Larry was right up there with what's about to happen...which means, (oh, btw, my parents and elementary school teachers taught me to read.) that if Larry's firing was "right up there" it is therefore below the firing of Tubby. Hence, worse than the firing of yet another good man. If you need further clarification, call mommy.

I get your sentiment. And I think Tubby Smith is a GREAT basketball coach. I think he came here for a payday and to build a program for his son to take over when he retires. I don't think Tubby came here to build a great basketball team for this university, or the fans. You must win the fans here. It's not easy to build a winner here. Larry had issues with his teams, Tic sucked, Cal took a while before success, and Josh lost the players and then the fans. Tubby Smith is not going to do what needs to be done to build what we the fans expect here.

allowing this information to slip out allows Tubby to win a couple in the AAC tourney and control the message via his lawyer.
if our folks kept their mouth shut it could have quietly been ended after the Cincy game and Penny could be quickly announced to much fan fare.
the UofM loves to screw up the simple things...just like with Larry.
