The Miami BB Twitter announced we'll be playing in a postseason tourney, almost certainly the CBI since CIT participants have to have a winning record. Any others know yet?

Nothing says post season basketball like a sub .500 record.

Heard on our Thursday night broadcast that we'll go somewhere. Guess CIT.
EMU is tough if they play hard. that's the thing with these loser's bracket tourneys. it's worth it for the teams that decide to show up and play hard and win some more games. Some teams miss their goals and check out. UC-Bakersfield nearly won the NIT last year and they might have been its weakest team, but they decided to show up and be great because even the NIT was big to them. CIT and CBI depend on team and staff buy in.
Ball State is a no for post season tournaments.
I would guess that Toledo might opt out given the Injury to Fletcher

Toledo will play in something, I think the MAC tournament showed that Toledo is a tough team with out Fletcher.

I would agree.

I hope TOL gets a NIT bid which would have gone to UB if they had lost.

I hope so too...
Unlikely for UT to get in the NIT, but if they did and Fletcher was able to get healthy I could see them go on a run. Tough emotional journey to go from so close to the NCAA, lose your star and psych up for the CIT.
Tough call for TOL. Isn't his MRI today?

I assume most bids have been accepted already.

No, not at all... Only 15 of the 32 slots were filled by Conference champions who lost their tournament. They other 17 will fill up after the NCAA bound teams are announced at 6pm.
Bracket predictions:
CBS—5 Gonzaga v. 12 Buffalo in Boise (though it’s actually East Region.)
ESPN—5 Ohio St. v. 12 Buffalo in San Diego (South Region)
CMU at Fort Wayne in CTI it looks like.
Miami playing at Campbell in the CBI, their only matchup against the MAC this year was a loss against BG.
EMU hosts Niagara in the CIT on Wednesday.
Buffalo announced as final group of 8 being considered for the last 4 women's ncaa at-larges. not sure why the women's committee is doing this teaser thing this year, field announced Monday.
Kent declined invite, Delarosa is hurt and would not be able to play.
The CIT was able to fill only 20 of its 32 slots.
