Would AAC be better off moving basketball conference Tournament forward a day to allow greater consideration of AAC teams into NCAA tournament?

The bigger concern is getting more programs on track to make the NCAA tourney. We should be getting 4 to 6 bids each year.

I agree 100% or at least move the final up a few hours on Sunday.

Good morning, hoops fans. The committee is back at it, continuing with seeding. 28 teams were voted into the field on the initial ballot yesterday, which is a few more than a typical year. A total of 33 remain on the under consideration board. The top two lines have been seeded.

This is exacty why KU is benching their “injured” center.

No.

When the tournament ever gets to a city where it will be supported, having quarterfinals on Fri, Semi's on Sat and Champ Game on Sunday is the best way to draw crowds.

It needs to be based in Memphis for that to ever possibly happen.

It will also be well attended in Ft. Worth.

It would be better attended literally anywhere besides Hartford.

I don't think anyone would argue otherwise.

Why even play conference tournaments?

Oh, besides the money thing. Oh, and also it gives ******, mediocre teams from P5 leagues a chance to "build" their resumes by beating teams that have already cashed it in for the weekend because their seed has already been determined.

This crap is such a farce.
Not as long as we get cbs for the semis and finals.

The TV networks control the gametimes. As long as ESPN/CBS holds all of the cards, we have no say.
