Jordon really played out of his mind last night, and I know Bill has been a huge fan since day one. Yes, he had a huge output in scoring 37 pts. to tie the CAA tournament record. But, I saw something in him last night that IMO is the reason he scored so well.

For the first time I can recall, Talley played with ice in his veins instead of lava. He played with passion but not emotion. Usually, I will watch Jordan make an incredible play, then turn around and make two stupid passes and foul trying too hard to make a steal at half court. That didn't happen but one time I can remember last night when he tried to send an alley oop to Fornes.

As a result, he was shooting in the flow of the offense. Several times he handed the ball off, came off a few picks, then shot with his feet planted or drove using the pick. In the past, he would come down the court, keep the ball then shoot or drive without ever giving the ball away. He also had only one TO the whole game since he wasn't forcing passes.

Dude had 37 points, 7 assists, 1 turnover and 1 foul. He was a stone cold assassin last night instead of an enraged boyfriend. THAT is a Jordan Talley who could upset this CAA tournament if he can play under control and give up the ball.

Last night, Jordan Talley grew up as a player and he should be proud.
Agreed completely. He also avoided getting into foul trouble; I believe he only had 1 foul last night. Which, of course, we needed, with seemingly everyone else in foul trouble.

Hope he can keep his career going as long as possible!

(By the way, it's JORDON, not Jordan....)
I’ll fix the thread title when I get to a computer.

Fixed it. I usually call him by just his last name, so I wasn't really paying attention.
he just had no gas left in the tank last night. Sad to see him go out like that after such an incredible game Sunday
