Honestly, they should have lowered prices for Spiker's first year to get people back in the building in the hopes that the new style of play would bring them back. It was obvious there was going to need to be a multi year effort to dig out of the hole.

The point that I've been trying to make is that ticket prices are low enough, and that lowering ticket prices much more isn't going to get many more people in the door. There are other ways to get people in the door other than lower ticket prices, but that takes creative marketing...something Drexel Athletics clearly seems to lack. The parking, and concessions argument works for pro teams with larger arenas and gets a cut of the parking. Drexel Athletics doesn't get any of a cut of the parking, and the DAC is too small to have any decent concessions anyway.
I'm going to close this thread because the discussion has gotten a bit stale and repetitive. Feel free to move any ideas to the new thread that I started titled "How can Drexel improve ticket sales?"
