What do you think Coach K's chances are for winning MAC Coach of the Year? It seems like a lot of times, coach of the year awards are given to coaches who exceed expectations. The Rockets were picked to finish third in the West and they finished in first by themselves. I'm sure Buffalo's Nate Oats will get a lot of consideration, but they were picked to win the East and got the second most votes to win the tournament.

I know many of you question TK's coaching ability (especially defensively), but my question is not asking whether you think he deserves it. My question is, what do you think his chances are of winning it?

Good, and he deserves it.

My first vote would go to Ball State’s coach. I think some folks minimize that mid-season he had a player or two bolt, dismissed another one, and still will finish with a winning record (including 2 wins against us, both in convincing fashion), all with a team of 8 scholarship players.

But yes, my next vote would be for TK. This team was in big trouble after those 2 uninspired home losses to Marshall & Wright State, and instead they finish with the 2 seed. I think in MAC play we only lost back-to- back games once?

And I agree that we should let his existing contract ride—no extensions—unless he wins the MAC tournament. Let’s see where he is after another couple seasons.

TK has to be given serious consideration.

TK is a strong candidate...shoe in if we win it all.
