Right now as a package deal? How much money would you be willing to spend? As Mark Jurich was able to raise $84 million for the University of Louisville and might come along would that make a difference? As a leader in Title 9 (screw the Romans) and a colleague of Bob Bowlsby, could Tom Jurich and Rick Pitino work for your University?

If not, why not?

Doubtful for BC and also for Miami. With Miamis history, They wouldnt dare hire someone with so many????? Jurich may get a job quicker than Pitino.

Probably right.
I think Pitino is done coaching. No school will be that desperate to hire him. As for Jurich, if he still has the drive, he can be at a G5 school for 5-10 years. Not just any G5 school but one that has the ability and will to move up. The question is, what school would be interested? UNLV? New Mexico? Maybe go back to Colorado State?
Massachusetts might take Pitino if we had a spot to give him and he wanted the job. He is a UMass alum after all. While I wouldn't say we condone the scandal at Louisville, our vacated Final Four banner is still hanging in the Mullins Center.

For now I think we're all set.

Any of those 3 would take them and I predict Louisville will take Dick Papino after a couple of years--after he's a broadcaster for ESPN and the ACC network. (I predict that's Pitinos next job)

That's how you get clean right?

As you brought up personalities in the tv business......why aren't compliance officers being wiretapped? How about the NCAA employees being wiretapped for what they are communicating to the University? Any leaking? If shoe agents and coaches conversations are being "explored", why not the communication between infraction committee conversations and investigators and compliance officers?

It should actually all be out there if it were fair.

That's all reasonable. Im of the opinion that certain media groups are complicent in the very article topics they are reporting in fact.

No doubt. They will tell you where to look.

Mitch’s buddy got ran like a toy. His new toy is seeking “higher” office. Not a surprise the Bush boys are trying to protect him.

Bonnafide!
ECU would to have either along with Sean Miller.

Yes. I forgot about them. Baylor would hire them both too.
No question.

Never. They're grifters

Sure Tom Jurich was a great fundraiser, but he also put his son, Mark, on the foundation payroll and essentially fleeced the school's athletic foundation of its funds to line the pockets of his family, Pitino's and former U of L President Ramsey.

Regardless of how much money you can raise, if your job includes the need to manage said funds and you fail to do so, then that's a major red flag to me!
Multi-generations working in intercollegiate athletic administration in a non-coaching role always scares me as they got into it because they saw a parent profit of the backs of unpaid labor too.

UConn !
Few years ago Jurich was the AD with the “golden hair.” Everybody wanted and loved him. He is toast and Pitino is also. He should catch on in Europe.

Tom Jurich has done absolutely nothing wrong. UofL is going to look foolish if/when Jurich wins his lawsuit
