Sad to say, but after watching most of the away games on the internet, it is about par for the course at Sun Belt arenas. I would assume ULL is an exception.
Considering it was raining cats and dogs, I highly doubt many people wanted to drive and walk around in that monsoon, but I could be wrong.
People will brave the elements to see a winner but not for 6-21. Not likely to get much better with the current regime.
Always amazes me that rain significantly diminishes crowds at LR basketball games. It's inside for godsakes. Makes me wonder how many would show up on a cold, rainy day/night to sit on metal bleachers at War Memorial to watch a bad football team.

I wonder the same thing. Would there be at least 1000 students. And do we start out in fcs then make the move up.
Of course, I am a big Lamar football fan, since my son-in-law coaches there, but I have to admit that my enthusiasm to attend games backs off considerably when it starts turning bad weather. One of the appealing things about basketball is that it is indoors.
I don't attend cold weather baseball games or soccer matches.

I'm the same way. May have been different when I was younger, but I have no interest in being uncomfortable during a 2 to 3 hour sporting event.
Oddly enough, I can stand the heat at baseball games better than I can the cold.
Sure would like to see our attendance, compared to last years, and our number of season tickets sold, compared to last year. Don't expect to see it though. If I was the chancellor. I'd be wanting to see them, and I'd be having some serious talks with my AD.
If we could find last year's SBC stats page, we could do it, but I have not been able to find it.
Yep
+1

Would it tell number of season tickets sold?
I am sure it is just whatever the schools reported.

The only time I have been truly miserable on a hot night watching baseball was the Travs game I went to and sat below ground level. No breeze at all.
