He is one of my all time favorite Rocket players to watch on offense. He is deadly outside the arc, always plays with his head up, makes smart decisions on the pick and roll and is creative going to the hoop.

I can't tell if our defensive problems are due to a lack of quickness on the perimeter or to Coach K's philosophy and system. It has been painful all season and the last couple games in particular to watch opponents burn us time after time taking it to the rim. It sure is different than Nichols and Joplin where everything started on defense. Kowalczyk needs to make some adjustments.
I do not understand why a coach cannot stress offense and defense. If you remember the great John Wooden teams, they pressed the entire game and were likely as good defensively as they were offensively.

Hope not Wooden's teams were better paid than NBA teams at that time.

Nobody will ever accuse Roy Williams of being a good defensive coach. He’s done pretty well focusing 90% of his game plan on offense.
