It only took him until 80% of the regular season was over to figure it out. HOF here we come!

Forbes signs extension to 2023.

Meaningless.
Tubby isn't really that bad. He's a good guy. Let's see how the AAC tournament goes.

Maybe not to the black bears. He's on their candidate list.

Maybe he was luring the rest of the conference into a trap, and now springs it on them in time for the tournament. Old age and treachery, etc.

Then again, maybe not.

I can save you the time. Blowout loss if they make it after the first game. Not a knock on the team just that these jucos won't be ready for other hungry teams vying for a spot in the tournament.

I think Tubby, based on public information, is a good person. My observations are purely related to his professional performance.

He'll coach harder now?

Nah...This is still him taking credit for the victories...

Essentially he made a change that caused the wins...

When they lose the players aren't listening.

During the other winning streak he simplified the offense.

What exactly did he do to the Offense? Even during the last game, I seem to remember coming our of a time out and getting a shot clock violation.

edit: O yea.. I see what you are saying now. When they lose, they need psychological counseling...When they win, it's Tubby who won.

The first winning streak when Parks emerged.

Zone seems to work better when played against teams that have lost 5 straight (SMU) and 6 straight games (Tulane).

o no....

Actually, I was watching the last game with a savvy BB guy and he said, 'I shudder to think what's gonna happen to that zone.'

'What do ya mean?' I asked.

'A good team is gonna slice that zone to pieces.'
I like reeling off two wins against teams on a combined 0-10 streak.

Of course, it's better than losing to them.

One reason to play zone is if the other team can't throw it in the ocean outside of 15 feet. That would describe the team we played Saturday.

As for Mark G' s tweet -- I appreciate anybody who is not afraid to admit when he's wrong. I can think of at least one regular contributor here who has never been able to do that as long as I've been here. Make that two.

Easier to do when the other teams are missing key players.
