I don't know who the "tabletmag" is, but they have done a good bit of work linking Sen. Warner and Christopher Steele to each other and Vladimir Putin.
Now its all through common people, so it reads like a bit of a tin foil, but the connections are interesting. Warner's connection, in view of his bizarre e-mails, is concerning.

Among Waldman’s clients is Oleg Deripaska, a Russian aluminum magnate with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In a text dated March 16, 2017, Waldman texted Warner, “Chris Steele asked me to call you....”"

Like you said---the links are tin foil. Which has been my point all along on the "links" pressed by the Russia Russia Russia narrative. Of course a businessman candidate and a campaign which included a number of powerful international businessman can be linked in some way to Russia.
I do find it strange that the once it came out that the dossier was actually paid for by the Clinton campaign that the press narrative never changed. Thats when I realized there wasnt a single ounce of integrity left in the American mainstream press.

I'll also say this by using Google. It's a Jewish owned newsite. But received criticism for a report on Holocaust survivors. Didn't read their initial report or the one criticizing it.

It's interesting. If you go through the list of the bias and go to least bias you find Snopes and Wikipedia. Left you get CNN. I haven't done the right but I'm sure we know what we'll see. I'm not real warm and fuzzy on Wikipedia since anyone can edit the information.
