The parks clean? Is it some place you definitely go to every summer? Just curious. Has it made a big splash here in the last 20 years? Is it growing? I know it's on the border and parts are on the both sides of the state. I want to know the general reputation of it?

Pleases and thank yous,

Your good friend, Mach
Unfortunately I can't help you with the park but that part of the Carolinas is beautiful. You won't be far from Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Somewhere over there near Charlotte is where they filmed "The Last of the Mohicans" (the Daniel Day Lewis version). Not what you asked I know.
Its been awhile since I have been there. I have always enjoyed it. It used to be affiliated with Paramount so it had the CBS/Viacom universe available for cartoon characters and the like. Now I believe it is independent of that. It has a good reputation and you would probably enjoy it.
My local amusement park. The rides are pretty much what you can find anywhere but I don't think you'll be disappointed as long as you don't go in thinking it will be the best park you've ever been to. It's a fun day. Last time I went it was nice and clean but that was years ago. My sister, who is a germ-a-phobe, gets season passes for herself and my nephew, so I'd assume it's fairly clean still or she wouldn't go.
Pretty sure we camped in one of their areas bask some years ago when following the Dead up and down the east coast again.

Nice facilities, well managed as in kept clean, but can’t really speak to the Parks themselves. We were *ahem* too busy at the time.

If you decide to come slumming in the Souf, then by all means carve out a couple days to finish the trip by heading to the Coast for a day or two.

Soak in some clear ocean breeze, might help clear your head for a bit!...

I have been a bunch of times, and used to have season passes.

It is clean. The rides are fun. You can spend all day in there and not hit close to everything.

Great park, IMO. It's no Cedar Point, but it's a lot of fun.
