Rokas Gustys has 1,240 rebounds, which is 74 behind David Robinson of Navy's CAA career record. With his season average, he would need 7 games to break the record, and his first CAA Tournament game would make 5 games.

Joe Chealey has 162 free throws this season, which is 53 behind Petey Sessoms of Old Dominion's season record from 1994-1995. He has made 35% more than the next most by a CAA player, who is Nathan Knight with 120. He's tied for the ninth most free throws in Division I. With his season average, he would need 9 games to break the record. If Charleston wins the CAA Tournament and loses their first NCAA Tournament game, that would be 8 games. He needs 38 free throws to join David Robinson as the only CAA players to have two seasons with 200 free throws. He has 533 career free throws. He could finish between David Robinson, who is third with 604, and Vernon Butler of Navy, who is fourth with 568. The record is 690 by Carlos Yates of George Mason, and Charles Jenkins is second with 639.
Interesting stats. Not surprised Gustys is challenging that record. He has been an excellent rebounder since day 1 in this conference.
Gustys will be the first player to lead Hofstra in rebounds in four seasons. The most recent player to lead Hofstra in rebounds in three seasons was Kenny Adeleke, who transferred before his senior season. As a freshman, Gustys was eighth on Hofstra in minutes, and his rebounds per game were 0.05 more than Moussa Kone.
