Heh. ULM is a game out of 3rd place you guys.
Bobcats continue their second half (of the season) meltdown, lose to Cajuns by 10.

The Freefall continues . . .
I hope it continues Saturday! 03-wink
I know home/road splits should always lean homerish. But how is South 11-2 at home and 1-10 on the road?

That is just stupid.

besides CRH getting his 20th win bonus payday, if we put away GS tonight, does that mean Georgia State will secure #2 seed?

Not officially. Troy and South are tied with GS right now. But you'll have a three game lead over third place with four to play and that makes it pretty safe.
Will the SunBelt ever have decent refs.....

My magic 8-ball keeps saying no.

Your magic 8-ball is indeed wise . . .
Have watched 5 mins of the GS and GSU game and the # of times the announcers and graphics guys get these two confused is hilarious. They showed Byington’s pregame speech and put the Panther logo by his name.
as bad as we played for first 10mins, we are only down 8 points. thank goodness.
Thanks Ga Southern for taking down Ga State hope we don't give that game back tomorrow against UTA

Overall they did a nice job despite the constant confusion.
We never gave up even on a bad night for us. I like the fight.

Those announcers were bad.

Beat Louisiana UTA!
For the 13th time in a row, the home team will win the Southern-State game.
*shrug* weird night from our best players. oh well. onto the next game!
missed free throws, very sluggish at times...inconsistent effort. not surprised a bit by the outcome, five-point loss on the road in this series is about right. i might have predicted just about that same score before the game. but if we had played a little better in stretches, we could have won that one.

congrats eagles, might see you in the tournament.

It would be nice if the leadership actually cared about winning. Just participating in FBS football and D1 athletics seems to be enough for our leadership. Is it too much to ask to be competitive? To occasionally win a title? Will they ever find a way to beat the Cajuns?
Just a shout out to Georgia Southern. I thought they played very well for most of the game, except when there were about 5 minutes left and they tried to "slow the game down." I hate when coaches (including ours) do this. They did play well in the end and made some critical free throws. Overall, it was a great effort.

Congratulations on the big win!

Trying to consistently win in San Marcos is something akin to Chuck Brown trying to kick that ball held by Lucy Van Pelt . . . . a head scratcher fer sure.
