Soseme! El Seme playing hard!
Making the trip to Houston for the game thursday.
Looking forward to high 70s temps and (hopefully) a Bearcat W!
Is it normal for the walk-ons to not accompany the team on a road trip? I didn't see them on the bench today.
Bench guys got beat. I’m sure they’ll hear about it in practice and film.
The exchange between Cronin and Jankovic seemed odd.
23-2 and 12-0. The UC train keeps on a rolling down the tracks! Next game up!

It looked like he was asking about the player with the hand injury. I think it was genuine concern from my vantage point.
Nice finish. It's good that our bench are getting minutes and the starters getting some rest. Stay Big in Texas.
I think SMU was +7 today. Easiest money ever.
Nice win but man is SMU depleated. Also, there is definitely a drop off when our 2nd team is in, once they starting playing heavy minutes together they lost 26-16. Next up Houston, I'm expecting this to be a much tougher game.
UC up to #3 in Kenpom and #6 RPI.
All 11 of UCs active players got double digit minutes today.
I still don't know how Trevon Scott got a major D1 offer. I'm sorry, I know he hustles and tries hard and all that, but he's just plain awful. Great win today against a depleted team, not much to complain about other than bench production.

His offense is certainly lacking, but he actually is a decent interior passer; he also plays defense and rebounds at an above average level. I think he will be a contributor before his time is up here.
Heck he was defending on the ball up court in m2m often today. Not many guys his size can do that on the edge.
Does anyone know what Scott's ppm average is? We may be looking at Brooks and Eli Nso as our main big guys next year.
Headlines in the Dallas Morning News online about SMU and its hopes for the Big 12. Always great to go to the heart of Big 12 country and destroy a Texas team.

Go 'Cats!

Starters' minutes:

Washington 18
Clark 18
Evans 28
Cumberland 25
Jenifer 19

Should help for a huge upcoming game in Houston.
I thought JJ had a nice game today. Do you guys remember his outlet pass early in the game where he fired the ball up court to a streaking JC? I didn't realize he got in almost 20 minutes but I think it's because Mick sat him pretty early in the first half. His line:

6 points
4 boards
5 assists
1 steal
1 TO
0 PF
2/3 field (2 treys)

As the season has worn on, he has been steadily improving or maybe he just has been steady period. He's grown on me but I still like Cane off the bench. Someone will have to remember for me but when was the last time we had a "two headed combo" at the point? I applaud Mick for using them in spots/matchups/change of pace, etc. They are both complimentary in what they bring to the table in term of their strengths. That is a positive for us come tourney time IMO.
Broome isn’t playing much PG of late. He only got 17 minutes on the floor today for some reason and a lot of it he didn’t even bring the ball up. He’s filling an odd hybrid role right now where he floats a lot and helps swing the ball.
