Have I been living under a rock? Other than the UCONN women, who find #1 their normal position, I didn't know that UCONN men were ranked #1. Congrats! Of course, I'm assuming that both men and women teams are playing but you list the same score for both, leaving the reader confused even more.

Good stuff.

I think your first prediction is closer to reality than your second.
Temple playing with fire against USF. Tied at the half.

A loss here ends NCAA Tournament discussion for the Owls.
Manderson looks good down low for USF.
It appears the “bad” Temple showed up the first half.
USF is so comically bad. Can't rebound, can't get a decent shot off, can't take care of the ball.

Why did I bother watching this game.

Game being turned off.

Things will get better... next season.

A healthy Holston hopefully returns at guard next year. An eligible Yetna in the frontcourt should be a force. Two transfers who'll contribute will be eligible and an impressive recruiting class in coming in.
I am pleased seeing the Owls win because it helps put four AAC teams in ten NCAA Tourney.
Good win Owls! However,, they need to improve on the 44% free throw shooting. Shooting like that could matter when the games are tighter. They shot better from the field and almost as good from 3 point land.

There is no reason for the bad Temple. They have a ton of talent and experience. Echewhater needs a foot in the rear end. Piere and Rose are legitimate stars in the making.
Good 2nd half from Temple. Rose and Alston looked solid.

They definitely have to win one of the next two games to still have a shot at the NCAAs.

If they are 19-11 going into the conference tournament and win their first game, they are near locks in my opinion. If they go in at 18-12, they may need to win 2 games. 17-13, they have no shot.

Nope. 17-13 with one Conf Tourney win gets them in. Or 18-12 with a loss gets them in. They already have the big wins and the RPI.

Congrats Temple! Nice Win. Keep it up (except at Wichita).
Temple has no margin for error if we are serious about the tournament. Next 3 against WSU, UH and UCF, may only be favored over the Knights. Finish @ UConn and @ Tulsa, both tough places to play. Could go 4-1 or 1-4.

And they also have 4 questionable, if not bad, losses.

A 14 loss team from the American, even with a high SOS, isn't getting in.
UConn is absolutely going to bring their best effort today. The score will likely be much closer than people expect. There's enough talent on UConn's squad for some rando to just start torching nets because he thinks he's playing Duke @ Cameron Indoor Stadium (yes, it will be that loud today) and the stands are full of scouts.

I don't see a 13 loss team from the American getting in either. 12 is the number IMO.
