9 days away...

This should happen like yesterday. I think what the Shockers need to get them right in the mind again is to play against an opponent that they respect. This will be the first time all year they play against someone ranked higher than themselves (as long as there is no pooping of the panties before 2/18).

The Shockers will be able to play in their own Super Bowl for once instead of being everybody else's. I can't wait to see if they'll rise to the challenge like they always seem to do.

Play Angry Mother *******!

Wishful thinking. Cincy is everyone's super bowl
everyone else's superbowl...

More like the side chic....dish. Something that goes well with the entree but is definitely not the star of the show. Hey it's better than being the dessert though (ECU and USF)... You want to have those so bad because it's easy and sweet but we also know they are high calorie and kill your calorie standing for the week even with a win.
hey, you still have the most prestigious program in the conference coming to your gym tomorrow...don't forget lol
Wichita 72-55
i'm more concerned w/ @smu & @houston tbh...

wichita? meh
Cincinnati names the score. Is Mick the type to call off the dogs early?

Good one. It is going to be a great basketball game. 04-cheers
Sorry dude, but beating SMU @ Moody and winning @ UH will be much tougher than beating WSU at home. Good day.....04-cheers

To prepare for Connor Frankamp I heard Coach Cronin was going suit up for the scout team himself next week.
If you played against him in HS you’d know how much of a dirty foccker he was. Dude was a gym rat with some west side street urchin mixed in.
West side was my growing up territority. Specifically price hill/western hills. Even though the closer you get out to white oak/lasalle territory the soft it gets (Elder opinion) mick is the epitome of a West sider.
I've had the week of 2/11-2/18 circled on my calendar for quite some time. In terms of difficulty (especially considering the road games), this is going to be like a regular season simulation of what it would be like to run through the first two weekends of the NCAA tournament. If Cincinnati is standing at 25-2 next Sunday, I'm all in on our Bearcats being a Final Four favorite. I haven't been this excited about a Bearcats basketball team in 16 years. Let's get it on.

Quote:High School: Finished a standout career at North High School as the Wichita City League’s all-time leading scorer (2,275 points), passing up former Wichita Heights standout Perry Ellis (2,231)… A four-star recruit who was ranked No. 46 in the ESPN 100 and No. 34 on Rivals’ Class of 2013 list… A three-time All-Class 6A performer and All-City selection… Averaged 31.1 points, 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game as a senior in 2012-13 and, for the second-straight year, was tabbed as one of Kansas’ top five players for all classifications by the Wichita Eagle… Drained 93 treys in his final season… Winner of the American Family Insurance High School Three-Point Challenge during the Final Four weekend in Atlanta, hitting 22 of 25 attempts in the finals… Averaged 32.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals as a junior in 2011-12 while leading North to the state tournament… As a sophomore, set a City League record with 52 points on eight three-pointers in a win over Northwest and went on to average 27.2 points… Coached by Gary Squires… Was leading scorer for Team USA (14.1 pts) in its 8-0 run to the gold medal at the 2012 U17 FIBA Championships… Also a member of the 2011 FIBA Americas U16 Championship team… Selected twice for the USA Developmental National Team in 2010 and 2011…

Conner Frankamp is Wichita's all-time leading scorer in HS. That's beating out a lot of NBA players over the years.

Nobody has ever seen HS Conner while he is in college. Only flashes of the past. But if you are playing against him when he turns back into old Conner, you're probably going to be toast.
