LOVE the Winter Olympics.

Hockey & Curling baby!

Like hockey, ski jump, luge, bobsled, and the ice skating when the get to freestyle. 2nd tier events are ski slalom events, snow boarding, ...and probably a few I am forgetting.

Love the Olympics but the summer games are my favorite overall based on the events. I'll be tuned in for this over the next two weeks. I enjoy downhill skiing, bobsled, luge, speed skating and snow boarding the most. I'm still trying to figure out the two man luge. Aside from the fact that it just doesn't look right...

That said, it seemed most of the contestants had trouble sticking landings.

I'm loving the snowboarding. Love the spirit of this 17 year old, Red Gerard. Says he wasn't worried about being in last place coming into his third run. He gold medaled. Looks like the Mad 'what me worry' kid.

Said this about his family:
“I’d say they’ve been having some fun,” Gerard told the press following his big win. “Excuse me, but I got a Snapchat this morning at like 8:30 when I was taking a bus up, and they were all shotgunning beers on the way to the mountain. So I’d say they’ve been having a good time, yes.”

Shawn White dropped two mics tonight so you could hear his gold medal in stereo... WOW...crushed it.

That said, his commentary most times is pretty good.

They do know their stuff and get genuinely excited when skaters do well. Most commentators seem to be to cool for the room and show no emotion. This pair also knows when to "not" talk as well. Just because there is a span of 3 seconds where something isn't big happening they don't feel the need to talk. The walk the line of information and blathering on really well.
