Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau corrected a woman on her language when she asked a question during a town hall Friday.

The unidentified woman asked Trudeau whether the Canadian government could ease regulations on volunteering with religious organizations, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

"So, that’s why we came here today to ask you, to also look into the policies that religious charitable organizations have in our legislation so that it can also be changed because maternal love is the love that’s going to change the future of mankind,” said the woman, who was reportedly affiliated with the World Mission Society Church of God.

Trudeau immediately corrected her.

“We like to say ‘peoplekind,' not necessarily ‘mankind,' because it’s more inclusive,” he said.

The crowd clapped after Trudeau’s comments.

The Canadian government has cracked down on language inclusivity over the last week.

Canada’s Senate passed a bill Thursday to make the country’s national anthem gender neutral. The bill changes the second line of “O Canada” from “true patriot love, in all thy sons command” to “in all of us command.”

Trudeau... wow.



This is what the left wants for the United States. Lunacy.

People are getting silly with this nonsense. I know there are folks in the US that feel the same way as Trudeau. I'll never understand those folks.

I've been to canada twice. I can see why they're like that. It's called brain freeze. When the people rush out of their houses and condos on the first sign of a little sun that tells you that their brains are a little frozen. I heard from some of them that winter last 9 months. EGAD!

Also, apparently people are taking this slightly out of context. The woman speaking at the townhall was promoting The World Mission Society Church of God, which wikipedia describes as a "Korean Feminist cult".

Trudeau interjected after the lady had gone on about material love and womanhood, only to use the word "mankind" right after. I believe Trudeau meant it as a joke, hence the laughter from the crowd. But who knows...

Is the "Free" Canadian healthcare system taking too long to get you an MRI? Drive to Buffalo for one, they will cut you a great deal for one.

The US being so close allows the negatives of the Canadian healthcare system to be minimized.
