Podcast Episode 10: Team/Player Mentality with former professional ballplayer Michael Katz #NVTBL

Michael was a terrific ballplayer for our Tribe some 4-5 years ago. Batted righthanded with very good power to all fields.

In the games I've seen...well over one hundred...he hit the longest home run I've seen at Plumeri. Don't recall who it was against, but it was a day game and he hit a majestic line shot that cleared the left field scoreboard by at least twenty feet and landed on the adjoining field at Martin Family Stadium. Had to have gone well over 450 feet.

Even our opponents came out of their dugout to watch it.
We had the pleasure of hosting Michael one summer when he played for the Waynesboro Generals of the Valley League. Great player and great guy. He launched a monster walk-off home run one night and came home and gave the ball to my kids. A great example of a true William and Mary student athlete.
