Shop Gasol.

And try my absolute best to deal Conley even at a big loss.

Get some top picks for Conley, Gasol, and Parsons if I can.

Keep Tyreke.

Finish the foolish "rebuild" that started last year.

Why on earth would any team want Parsons and his contract?

Who cares?

Move him or cut him.

I don't think any of the three players mentioned will play a full season for the rest of their careers.

Package deal him or something.

Or just cut him if he has a teflon contract.

Push the injury retirement issue or whatever.

It is a foolish narrative to say that trading Tyreke but keeping Parsons, Gasol, and Conley is somehow good for the future of the Griz.

Successful franchises figure these things out.

It's apparent you know nothing about how NBA contracts work. You can't just do those things because it benefits you. You are still bound by the numbers.

You okay?

I know exactly how cap space works.

You can trade anybody you want.

If you can trade Tyreke, you can trade Gasol, if you can trade Gasol you can trade Conley, if you can trade Conley, you can trade Parsons.

In fact, you could trade all four of them.

Hypothetically.

Need suitors but still.

Tyreke would be a higher priority for me than any of the other three guys going forward.

I would figure something out.

Explain to me where I am wrong.

No team is trading for Parsons and if they did the Grizzlies would get another bad contract in return
How many years remain on Parson's contract?

2 after this year. NBA allows free agents switching teams to sign for a maximum of 4 years.

As trade discussions involving Memphis Grizzlies guard Tyreke Evans intensify, front office plans to sit him out until a deal is completed, league sources tell ESPN. He'll start sitting vs. Pacers tonight. Trade deadline is next Thursday.

Grizz FO behaving intelligently. Hope this is the start of a trend.
(01-31-2018 05:54 PM)Marc Mensa Wrote: [ -> ]What about a Kevin Love + a pick for Marc Gasol trade?

Throw in Conley for D Rose.

And Parsons for Crowder, Korver, or Green.

Joke scenario but figure it out.

The Griz have to.

The Griz will suck for the next ten years if you keep Conley, Gasol, and Parsons.

Grizz FO finally behaving intelligently. Hope this is the start of a trend.

Fixed it for you.

Evans should have been taken out a week ago at least- he is killing the tank
So dumb.

Do any of you think that Conley, Parsons, Gasol, a draft pick, and whoever are going to be playing every game together next year and winning a large percentage of them?

Just curious.

FTR I have been watching the Lakers tank for a few years.

Then they wasted this year's pick on Lonzo Ball and said "We're back."

After trading Lou Williams.

Sound familiar?

Sad.

Article talks about how Lou Williams didn't want to tank, so they traded their best player for Brewer and a 1st round pick.

I'd take Lou Williams all day long.

Should have been an all star this year.
Grizzlies get screwed b refs and lose to Pacers.

Sucks to get screwed but at least we did not take a win.

And FTR, I do understand that you will still have to pay them.

If that's what you meant.

What's the difference between a hospital bed or another team or just cut?

That is what I meant. If you do that, you have to sign another player. This is not New York or LA or a team with a lot of money. You can't just cut players you don't want, keep paying them, and then pay newly signed players. The market here won't allow it. It sounds like a great way out of a bad situation, but it's not. If NBA salaries were like the NFL, it would be much easier. Nobody else wants our injured players with bloated salaries either.
Whatever the case, needs to be a package deal where the other team takes Parsons as well. Don’t even care if we get anything for him.

There's not a team in the league that would take that contract

You probably need to never post about the Grizzlies 03-lmfao

DRose, Tyreke, Korver, Davis, Love

You wanna trade an injured PG for a more often injured PG in Rose? LMFAO
I think Grizz fans need to be prepared to not get a 1st rounder in return on a Tyreke trade.

Bulls had to take back the terrible Omer Asik contract in the Mirotic trade, and take Tony and Jameer Nelson, and give up a 2nd round pick, to get the New Orleans first. Grizz FO does not want to take back a bad contract for next season, so might be hard to get what the Bulls got. We'll see.
Grizz are gonna trade Reke for Jae Crowder and DRose, then screw up 2 draft picks in the first round.

They are stupid if they(which they are already stupid for trading him in the first place but) don't package Parsons with him.

And in all seriousness, what is Conley going to do and for how long?

If you can trade him ... DO IT!!!!

Keep 'Reke or trade him to the Lakers.

It's hit or miss if you don't have the 1st or 2nd pick this year.
