extra 5% on the take home pay. Not bad at all.

04-cheers
We just got a notice that there will be changes. The fixed withholding rates for supplemental wages have been reduced to 22% (unless its over a million when its 37%-Don't know why they needed to include that in the letter-the people, or person, getting that much gets a separate briefing).

You must be a corporation or a rich one percenter. No one else’s is supposed to benefit from it. I know that’s true because CNN, ABC News, CBS News, CNBC, and NBC News all said so.
2.2%. Sweet!
I find it disgusting that anyone is allowed to keep more of their hard-earned dollars. None of you know what you're doing.
A Lib friend of mine came in to work and asked if I got my paycheck yet and laughed. Said we got that trump tax bump, maybe I can get an extra combo or two McDonald’s this week. Anybody on this board that doesn’t want more of their hard-earned money, I’ll gladly take it from you.

Alternately, he could send more of his pay to the feds if he wished. I don't think that's illegal.

Its not, yet none of the liberal fools ever do that.

I'm getting a 3.2% bump. Gladly taking it and saved up over the next 6-8 months, will be able to use it for a nice weekend getaway with my wife in addition to our planned vacation.

Just under a 6% bump for me. Thank you very much.

Now, nothing to do but wait and see if this causes a massive government shortfall or if a more robust economy makes up for me keeping a little bit more of my money.

You should donate that money to the Demoncraptic Party if you weren't a racist, or a misogynistic pig or whatever the next adjective they use next week.

Congratulations, I see you're happy with "your bread crumbs" like Peloser and Whatshername said.

Muh fat cat/ big corporation give away!

5%. That’s plenty solid. Congrats!
to quote our play-by-play guy....."looking looking looking looking looking looking looking looking" ...... for a libturd......

#sackfumbletouchdown
I'm anxious to see if ours take ahold next week now
About 2.5% for me. Not nothing.
you guys do realize you can decrease withholding where you'll be ~flat at the end of the year, eh???

I haven't played in corp 'murica for over a decade now.....so maybe that advantage has been eliminated.....

getting $$$ after filing is simply not a smart way to manage money....

if you wanna loan me money at 0% interest and build debt along the way, I'll bite.....

edit: don't kid yourself.....I understand some don't have the discipline to save or need that bang bang come come FEB/MAR
Just think, if you are a Democrat you can vote to give that money back in the next election....or not
I know I'm going to have to tweak my two income households might be surprised come April 2019 if you don't evaluate amount withheld from each paycheck v. what the combined tax liability will be. Ultimately one spouse probably needs to set withholding as Married withhold at single rate.

That's what my wife and I do. I also set my deductions at 1 less then they actually are. That way we get a little back but more importantly we don't owe.
