Awesome !!
Anyway they move the date for the VMI game so we can get started on the stadium sooner? I was thinking our last 2 games would be away.
9/8 and 9/15 sure are early dates for conference games.,

I have a bad feeling that one of those will be the bye week
We will desperately need 10/6 to be the bye week.

To recover from playing VT and ECU back to back. I agree, we need the bye later, but it looks like it could be the second or third week this year.
Im hoping we don't have to "recover" after playing ECU.

My guess is even if you moved VMI to the early part of the schedule, CUSA might still stick a conference game in that spot. Better to have a late road game against an FCS school than multiple road games against conference opponents down the stretch if bowl eligibility/positioning or division titles are at stake.

Well, the team and fanbase may need to recover after two straight weeks of celebrating when we beat them both.COGS
Scheduling VMI is worse than UMES in basketball. Really not sure why they scheduled this game. I'm sure budget concerns played a roll, but good grief, talk about a lack luster game to end the home season.

It could be huge if we need it for bowl eligibility.

Was thinking the same thing. We really should win that game.

Strength of schedule doesn't mean much for us. We may need that win for a bowl so I have no issue with it. Schedule is fine though I hate the late bye.
