This guy could be a beast for us. Power and speed. Could run him up the middle or on the jet sweep, and he doesn't fumble which would appease the master. Could be a steal if we can sign him.
How can he be a "recruit" if he's still visiting other schools? Obviously verbals mean nothing then.

Verbals don't mean much, which is why the early signing period is important for NIU to get their guys.

This is the second year of the early signing period. Coaches are learning from last years mistakes. If your not sure of a recruit now, jump earlier rather than later to your back up plan before they sign with a MAC team then you are left with going to your 4 or 5th back up plan player due to early signings.

Spoke to a friend who knows Tom Trieb and says he is under the radar due to an injury and didn't play football this year. Good news he is back playing basketball presumably healed. Syas he is a star athlete. Typical NIU get.

Tyrice Richie is back one year later than expected. This helps with the 2 late decommits.

Just coincidence I'm sure lol. I remember somebody on the main board claiming that recruits didn't "lose stars" after signing with MAC teams. Sure seems like it happens a lot.
BTW which system were you looking at that changed?
