I remember people saying the @Toledo game would never happen!
Although even I had some doubts after they pushed it back the first time.
It's a rare schedule Toledo doesn't have a lock on at least the top three prettiest campuses but for a non-ivy, that's a murderers row.
Classic trap game for UM. Coming off a tough Savannah State and looking ahead to a big intra-state rivalry game with FIU.
Imagine the post game celebrations around campus and in all the bars in town if we beat Miami...
4 games on the road and 8 at home for Miami. Devasting to have 9 on Saturday, one on Sunday, one on Thursday and one on a Friday.
Must be nice.
I don't think the above listed schedule for The U is accurate. It would mean 5 home conference games and 3 road conference games... I cannot believe that arrangement. I'll check.. they play at UVA, BC, GT, VT & UT

My error on @UVA.

It would be amazing...and with a win over an opponent like that, we'd also gain a lot of new fans. We need a signature win to stay relevant in the football world. The Glass Bowl better sell out.

Signature win !!
Beating #9 Pitt and beyond . Knocking off the U at home would garner a lot of national respect and make people forget the bowl debacle.

I think that's going to take a better bowl performance next time, before that has hopes of going away.

In terms of public image and impression on future recruits, a home win over the "U" would greatly surpass the bowl debacle. Dedicated fans may carry bitter taste of the bowl debacle longer, but no one else will.

People don’t remember bowl games between G5 types. Appalachian’s win over us will be forgotten by next year, their win over U of M maybe never.

The "U" is a likely AP top 10 preseason poll team, if they maintain that coming into Glass Bowl a victory would be a major win for UT with national press attention, of course the flip side would also be a concern-a big time UT loss
