The Flashes welcome Western Michigan to the MAC Center tonight. The Broncos are 11-6 overall with a 3-1 conference mark and are coming off a 15 point home win over Ball State.

Western Michigan is paced on offense by Thomas Wilder. The 6'3 senior guard is averaging just over 18 points per game and also leads the team in assists and steals. Also, 6'5 junior Josh Davis who averages 10 points and 7 rebounds per game.

In the paint, the Broncos feature 6'8 sophomore Brandon Jones and 6'10 senior Drake Lamont.

This looks like a typical Western Michigan squad. Some of the guys seem like they have been around for a long time and we continue to wait for Steve Haskins and company to dominate the MAC.

So far the Flashes have held serve at home in conference play. Lets see if they can keep it up tonight. Tickets start at $6.

I'm a Reghi defender 4 ever.
Great game to attend. Amazing how the enviornment changes with the students back.
The guys had to play against 2 opponents: WMU & the refs. Playing from behind in the foul count was exhausting.
only thing that kept them in game was the FT disparity. Weimer was good as always, I hope we don't see the other 2 refs again.
We looked really good for 30 minutes then 10 minutes of nail biting. I realize we aren't going to shoot threes like that every night, but for the most part we were taking good looks so that was really encouraging. Walker didn't have a great game but I was happy that he didn't try to force shots just to get shots up. So that's also encouraging. Zabo is playing really good right now and that start to get game Pippen had was really impressive. 9 assists and 3 huge points for Avery was pretty nice too.

As for the refs... Yeah they were pretty brutal to us in the second half. I swear 50/50 calls are about 90/10 when it's De La Rosa involved. Seems like we frequently have the same refs. I gotta wonder if at this point certain refs have strong opinions about him.

And lastly, great play by Peterson at the end.
Another nice home conference win against a team that you don’t want stealing road wins in mid January. Looking forward to Saturday at sausage hall.

YES! 04-rock
I thought Peterson played a really solid game overall. Seemed to make the extra pass on offense and hit the boards on the defensive end. De La Rosa was strong on the defensive boards as well..refs were less than average...at 5 min mark secong half- we had 10 fouls vs 4 for WM... WM coach can't complain about being "homered" by the refs...still a fan of more passing/ball movement vs dribble/dribble/dribble into traffic by the guards at times..improving.
Does anyone know which players on the roster are not playing this year because they are redshirting? What is the story on Taishaun Johnson and Nwankwo?
FYI-Peterson putback/game winner was ESPN top ten play of the day- #3 or #4...
