He has a phenomenal year and the recognition wasn't as high due to Smith's accomplishments. Many of us fans did see it. Congrats Johnson.

It's obvious that the MAC is such a highly rated conference that's studded with studs, and that's why the highest rated LB in FBS could only make 3rd team MAC.

I think there is an unwritten rule that the MAC has to share the wealth in their all conference awards and have all schools represented in some way, much like the MLB All-Star game. Although, that did not stop them from awarding half of the first team offense selections to Toledo players.
The important thing is that Jawuann has another whole season to prove he is the best.
