Now if certain commits don't OV are they the blueshirts?

Not sure if Foster and Tinch are still committed but I know I haven’t seen anything about them OVing. Don’t remember ever seeing that Fish, Butler, or D. Thomas visited either.

Resembles back in 2014 when the staff had just a couple weeks before signing day to recruit. Vincent went out and found all those Olineman during the snowpocalypse. Except this time we are offering linemen who have actually been recruited and evaluated instead of Filler guys.

Yeah, most of those JUCO OL we signed in 2014 turned out to be duds.....hopefully, we will get some good ones in this time around!

The Oline will be revamped. Maybe kick Davis down to guard with Cook,Johnson, and Galten.

We want to open the playbook that line needs to be shored up with quality bodies, not fillers.

The OL and DL line ups in the 2018 spring game will tell us what to expect for the new season next fall. I am expecting major infusions of new players at OT and DE and will be disappointed if the same names are first string then. Those are not the best positions to fill with new guys (freshmen) in the fall.

In just two weeks (2/8/18) we will have a list of signees for 2018 in hand if all goes as scheduled. Keep fingers crossed and prayers said in the mean time.

So AU hired the Memphis DB coach back in December, I’ve had them the leaders for CD Daniels ever since. He doesn’t have an offer from them but he’s taking an official there this weekend. Remember he has OV set for UCF of Feb 2nd, too. Long shot to land him.

Jalen Rayam had surprisingly great OV to UCONN this past weekend. Now Bama connections sticking their nose in it. Kiffin at FAU and Napier at Louisiana Lafeyette. His top 4 are FAU, UConn, Louisiana Lafayette, and UAB. Kiffins been in town simply to see him. Rayam is taking OV to FAU this weekend....

The new facilities don't seem to be helping as much as people thought they would. This is exactly why a Mark Freeman type hire was so important. His players get A LOT of offers, and he knows just about every local recruit.Getting clobbered in the bowl game probably did not help matters either, as the players that we are recruiting saw the same things we did.

We have limited slots left and seem to be focused on immediate help. We blue shirted a few guys last year that count on this years scholllys. looks to be a balanced class when you consider blue shirts.

I think we'll have a quality signing class, but recruits are getting more savvy regarding the recruiting process and holding off making verbal commitments until they know the offers are done coming in (basically G5 offers aren't getting the verbals like they used to). Coach Clark has really publicized the fact he doesn't want your verbal commitment unless you plan on keeping it.
