60 minutes of action will be played. I'll go no further than that.
I'm glad someone took up my slack. Just for that, I'll pin it.

No prediction's though...I'm all out of optimism. :frown:

Despite the pre-game prognostications submitted by renowned sports pundits such as Jeff Sagarin, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, I believe that the ECU/USF football will remain highly competitive with a very narrow margin of victory.

Personally, it is my belief that East Carolina and South Florida have displayed flashes of improvement at times yet appeared to be lackluster and lackadaisical at other times. East Carolina and South Florida were equally annihilated by the University of Louisville yet East Carolina performed at a higher level of competition against the United States Military Academy than South Florida performed against the United States Military Academy.

South Florida's first scheduled contest of the 2004 intercollegiate football campaign against the University of Pittsburgh was canceled due to the onslaught of the hurricane season in the Tampa Bay region, then the Bulls defeated lowly Division I-AA foe Tennessee Tech University before being slaughtered at the mecca of intercollegiate intimidation, Williams-Brice Stadium, at the hands of the mighty South Carolina Gamecocks.

Thus, given the similar performances on a weekly basis thus far between East Carolina and South Florida, as well as taking into account the location of the ECU/USF football game, I believe that ECU will garner a narrow margin of victory against USF at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Hopefully, the Pirates will muster a sufficient degree of endurance and fortitude necessary to last into an overtime period as well given last season's ECU/USF meeting in Greenville. Fortunately, Rosie Amato is not scheduled to serve as a referee during Saturday's game in Tampa Bay.
Thank God football season is almost over :frown: !
