I saw a post on another board where the poster was commenting on how good the defenses look tonight in the consolation game. That got me to thinking, could it be that the offenses in the consolation game are bad vs. the defenses being so good?
Didn't the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa struggle against Auburn to move the ball? The same Auburn defense UCF almost laid half a 100 on?
Didn't Auburn score like 50 points on UGA?
Is it great defense or bad football?

Not only anemic offenses but so slow to run plays. It's the 4 corners offense.

I admire you man for watching. If my team had just won the National Championship I'm not sure I could muster any energy to watch. After the UCF game, I made a commitment to myself that was it for me for the season. I'm glad you guys sent me out on a good note. Congrats.

Yeah because most of the defensive players ok n Alanama, Georgia and Auburn suck. Unlikely to get NFL looks.

Yeah, but they are extremely big and very talented. In my opinion, you just can't compare this game with the type of game that UCF (and Tulane of 1998) would play against these teams. By the middle of the 3rd quarter UCF would be hitting their stride and these 2, very awesome teams would be winded....UCF would pull away.
We saw it time and time again in 1998 and with UCF, Memphis and USF this year. So much fun to watch...I would have loved to watch UCF play either of these 2 teams,,,
