For me, it would be:
1. Logan Baldwin's grand slam in the first game of the Sun Belt tournament to take the lead over UL and hosting the SBC tournament. Was a lot of fun.
2. The win over Wake Forest in men's basketball.
Firing Tyson Summers
1. Beating #21 LSU
2. Beating stAte and winning a piece of sbc championship
3. Winning the Sun Belt men’s basketball tourney and entering NCAA
4. Winning the Sun Belt women’s basketball tourney and entering NCAA
First FBS win vs UMass.

First Sun Belt win in all sports.

NCAA appearances in Volleyball and Men's Soccer, yet again.

So did y'all.
We um...did something. Once I figure out what it was, I'll get back to you.
1. Blowout football bowl win over Mac champ Toledo
2. Beating ULL to win a share of the conference in football
3. Men's cross country winning Sun Belt
Hearing we took in 10 million to get the north endzone/athletic complex underway. I need waterfalls to sooth the pain of this season.

Don’t go chasing waterfalls.
Beating Cajuns and App State.
Here's what I've come up with for AState. Nothing really Amazing, which really typifies how poor of a calendar year this was for Athletics.

1. One of our track stars made the US relay team at the World Championships.
2. Track placing 6 players at the NCAA Championships, a school record
3. Baseball beating Little Rock in 18 innings in a wild game.
4. Soccer getting its highest ever finish in the Sun Belt and beating South Alabama in Mobile.
5. Women's Basketball beating Florida

Most years, none of these would be considered a major story for us outside of the first one.
1. Ending the nation's longest bowl drought of 57 years.
2. Winning the bowl game to close out an amazing season for Aggie Football.
3. Beating a top 10 team of #6 Miami in basketball for the first time since 1990.

Here's hoping that our OOC football games can create some sort of semi rivalry for the Sun Belt and that we can schedule some basketball games against the SBC to see how we match up against them.
1. Beating Louisiana to win the Sun Belt
2. Beating Toledo to win the Dollar General Bowl
3. Denzel Dejournette becoming an NCAA Heavyweight All-American
4. Wrestling beating UTC on criteria to win the SoCon Title
5. Men's XC winning Sun Belt in Boone

Let’s add one more to your list

1. Beating #21 LSU
2. Beating stAte and winning a piece of sbc championship
3. Winning the Sun Belt men’s basketball tourney and entering NCAA
4. Winning the Sun Belt women’s basketball tourney and entering NCAA
5. Beating Alabama and Auburn in Baseball this year!
The grand slam against ULL was insane. The crazy play to nail the would-be winning run at the plate in the bottom of the 9th was incredibly underrated and one of the more heads-up plays I've ever seen.

Getting to discuss all of this with butt-hurt Cajun radio stations was even better.

Other than that, 2017 was nothing to write home about... I think I found a 5-spot laying around on my way into a home football game this fall.
Tyson Summers being fired.
Our biggest stories were off the field as well.

The dismissal of Mark Hudspeth and hiring of Billy Napier as head football coach.
The increase of the assistant's pool for football to $2 million.
The hiring of Bryan Maggard as athletic director.
The firing of softball coach Michael Lotief and subsequent hire of Gerry Glasco.
The completion of the baseball palace that is Russo Park
Football was the win over Baylor
Basketball was the win over Wake Forest

One of the most successful coaches in NCAA history? At our level, we are all one coaching decision away from mediocrity. I don't know that I'd call it a highlight yet.
