Agree that it did not make for a better message board. Ruined most worthwhile discussions and was totally unreasonable. He wasn't mean but nuts for sure. I've enjoyed reading these threads in his absence (although we haven't had anything positive to talk about).

Unlike past NIU teams, this team can score pretty well, but has problems on defense.

Looks like Jaylen Key dressed so I’m assuming he plays soon but who knows.

The box score says Iowa had 34 assists on 36 baskets...that has to be a record for assist %

It’s a Iowa record! NIU had a very solid shooting and scoring night. As I keep saying it’s all about the 3’s made and the Huskies give up as many as any team in the nation.

That's just it, I don't think of him as a fan but more of a troll. I am not sensitive at all but most of the posts were just nonsense that turned away many real fans. IMO

I didn't see the game, but did look at the box score. Iowa was shooting 65% at half. Some of that is bad defense, some is just shooting lights out. Not surprised NIU would out score them in the second half, iowa finished with 58% shooting so they came back to earth and shot 50% in the second half.

Do we know for sure he was banned? I certainly noticed his absence lately - kind of hard not to when he hijacks just about every thread. Still, I am a bit surprised if he was. For me, MD was mostly annoying, but as someone else wrote, others were always very mean to him and he was never mean to anyone.

I totally agree....we can’t defend the perimeter and 3s are not part of our offense

Several of our losses under Monty have been to teams with good 3 PT shooters

German is good but would be even better if he had a consistent ability to shoot threes to compliment his game

Yes, he was banned. But, I don't believe it's permanent.
