Maybe I don't understand this whole SOS rank. What exactly does that mean? I was under the impression that the teams in the playoffs had schedules that was light years beyond harder than a team like UCF.
As a conference, AAC SOS rank was 5, Big 12 was 6.
UCF SOS rank was 59
Alabama 42
Clemson
Oklahoma
Georgia 7
Auburn 5
Miami 24
O$U 30
Wisky 83
Now it is possible that I am completely off on what the SOS rank is......... but every one of those teams listed were in the playoff discussion the last 2 weeks prior to the final selection. What am I missing?
