No wonder Chuckie Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are squealing like pigs. The donor base in the districts they represent likely aren't happy. Interesting that both come from places where property "values" are inflated, they tax the crap out of them.....then they are written off as deductions on the Federal tax bill.

Cry me a river.
Wow, what I take away from that is 20% of the homes in San Fran are more than $1.7 million! But why are the democrats coming to the defense of a bunch of millionaires? They told them they weren't paying their fair share during the election.

That, and property taxes are entirely too high in NY/NJ.
Coastal elite dems are going to take one up the rear on this. lol

it's taking it to an entire other level of irony.....

oh darn, they're going to have to pay in now w/o an out......

this a 10 foot creosote pole getting shoved up their arse with a 03-thumbsup, a smile, and a queen wave from the middle class and the fly-over states.....

this is the biggest win of all with this plan.....

**** those over-inflated tax dodging elitists......
the democratic response on msnbc has been a laugh a minute this morning......

they still don't know what they're going to do going into the midterms.....

they're so ****** right now.......

the biatches did it to demselves

edit: Van Hollen is a ******* joke.....what a POS he is....

Trump has these liberals spinning in circles and they don't know what to do. They're gonna be so mad that Trump will lose the electoral votes of NY, CAL, ILL, NJ and DC in 2020. That'll show him!
wait, I thought dems liked higher taxes on the wealthy
I dont get the left, they claim that this tax bill benefits the wealthy the most, but ***** about a home deduction that caps at $750,000.... if you have a home thats worth $750k, you are not middle class, you are upper class. No middle class family has a $750k home, they'll be lucky to have a $250k home.

they have received XACLY! what they pine for on a daily basis.....

I'm hardly shocked not ne'er none of the resident tards have opined on this caveat.....

there is zero defense.....just like all their other economic policies they attempt to cover....

DJT has tossed their salad back in their feces.....that's how billionaires play the game of revenge......

and too many thought he was a dippo........

So, I'm supposed to be like Nancy and Crying Chuck and agonize over the unfairness of the tax bill where people, who own a $2million dollar home, can only deduct $10,000 worth of property taxes off their federal return instead of the $20,000 they used to be able to deduct.

How will I ever make it through Christmas season. The children! Their christmas is going to suck! That poor teenager on long island may have to settle for a Tesla model S without the range extension!

I will not shed a tear for those who have to cap their home deduction at 750k, they'll get no sympathy from me because lord knows that they are better off than I am.

these are the same sumbiatches that promoted the policies that allowed the housing collapse to impact millions of innocents.....

if I could shoot a harpoon thru their chest......I would.....however, this one is much more effective in scope that benefits the masses in recovery....

yep! Its a result of their own choices and the politicians that they put in place.

Excellent question. I would ask that in every political ad in the midterms.

SF's wealthy will simply just pay off their mortgages from their investment accounts. Property taxes in California are one third of those in Texas.

The rich aren't impacted one way or another by this. They have enough money to spend what they want anyway.

Who this hurts are people that need to borrow to afford that SF house or that beach house in Destin (watch out for that - which will probably be a far greater impact).

You know, most houses at the upper end are cash sales anyway.

It basically makes it harder for the unrich to become rich.

you're missing the point son....it's about where revenues are going to be recovered moving forward and how a pinch on their arse turns the uber rich warlords into whiny little biatches....

that's what's pissin' off dems that do everything possible to squash growth for the capable working class.....

you ain' bright sun......
