That's impressive!
A lot of my media friends here in Jacksonville were stunned at that decision. However, that soon turned into happiness and they are all on board with his decision.
That's what I would call starting out with a bang.

Several highlights HERE
Is this a "Woodside Effect" - seeing how he succeeded and the national attention he got, has got to be a contributing factor.

I wondered that too. Could be. Maybe partly NFL aspirations really? Since Jordan Lynch got a lot of hype but since he wasn't really an NFL guy we didn't land any top notch dual-option QBs after that.
1-on-1 with Carter Bradley

A couple years old, but interesting nonetheless.
Rockets have some tremendous receivers.
Wow! Go Coach Candle!

Hmmm. Haven't had a signing in 2 hours. Used to be that we'd be done by noon. Still some players out there.

Yeah, I think we're done until February. Couple guys I wish we could have signed but if they think they have better options then I'm very happy with the class at this point. Two very good QBs, a tall receiver, some good O & D linemen, a tough LB...DB is a bit of a hole. We have some time now to recruit new guys for February to replace those who didn't sign today. Not everyone that's left is going to get their "dream" scholarship offer, and in the end we may end up getting even more talented guys than those who had given us verbal commitments but who didn't sign today.

White, Barrow, Bisek seem likely.
Hampton maybe.
Fleriot- out

Still looking for a RB.

Perhaps but true return will be if he has a NFL career of any type.

I am always a little skeptical about the NFL potential draw and as a selling pitch (but well aware it is used in recruiting), even given the history of UT and the MAC, the successful NFL careers are few in number if you place in the context of the hundreds of players graduating out of the MAC each year, compared to number in the NFL at any time. Sure there are some great players, PFHOF quality careers or very successful pro careers from the MAC, but need to keep those in perspective with those coming into the MAC from HS. And of course relative to the P5 schools were majority of HS players with NFL potential/skills- or think they are- end up with.

Recent MAC QBs show challenges with projecting their success into the pro game.
That's great news!
Maybe neither Peters or Guadagni next year. Should be quite a battle with the WV guy in the mix as well.
Looks to be a talent, one of our biggest recruits ever I would think. UT is QB rich all of a sudden...
Just saw that Bradley was #267 on the ESPN 300...not many G5 schools represented on that list...the OT that signed with WMU was 256...impressive for both schools.
So now the BG coach is talking about "boats." If any of our coaches talk about "boats," can we please have them skuddled?

But in his case, he’s just confused boats with sinking ships.
Did anyone know this guy was coming?
