Would love to bet you large sums of money that one streamer makes it past Row 1 of the stands & no penalty is called on JMU. Care to define terms & make the bet? Otherwise, you're just fear-mongering the stupid.

I want in on this action too.

ditto. they’re absolutely not calling penalties. as close to 100% guarantee as you can get. it’s not happening.

lol at how upset this is getting you. Chill out and go enjoy the game. You’re entirely too worked up about this.

I will enjoy the game for sure. Bud, my name is HYPERduke. It's kinda my posting style.

I want you to stop needlessly scaring people out of throwing streamers!
As Hyper briefly alluded to, what's to prevent a Bissssson from tossing a streamer when we score if they knew we'd be penalized?

What people are asking though is to not throw them onto the field, at the opposing team or at opposing fans. Some of that did happen last year. We're just trying to hold one another accountable. I don't see anything wrong with that.

Yes, don't do that either. Except that has nothing to do with the referee.
I too think there zero chance a technical penalty is going be called for us throwing streamers in the stands. Now if a gold one hits playing field that might be another story. That could be fan interference(if there is even a penalty for that), or something of that nature. Just keep them behind the wall until we win then streamer the heck out of the damned stadium.Throwing streamers in the stands is no more interfering than crowd noise is. I have never heard any team penalized for that. Now what may happen is, JMU gets billed for cleaning up the mess that is caused. I just think they are going to be conficating any streamer they SEE, coming in the gates.
Going to try to get a few streamers in but Plan B is a bunch of purple Rally Towels. Will have a few extras so I will be passing them out.

Go Dukes!!

that's what Hyper is saying. yes, NDSU fans could throw them. the refs aren't idiots, they're aware of that. they're not going to throw a flag just because they see a streamer on the field and just assume it was thrown by a JMU fan. if they physically SEE a JMU fan (maybe between plays) throw a streamer onto the field, then MAYBE you see a warning. that's it. there will be no penalties for it. Hyper is just trying to make sure people aren't afraid to throw them. throw away.

Think they would call a technical if we threw a hotdog on the court/field?

lol no way!

Hotdogs are not on the prohibited list. So unless you staple a super scary (and dangerous) ball of crepe paper to it, then..... "Gentlemen, throw your wieners."

The more important question is if you were a hot dog and you were starving, would you eat yourself?

I can't seem to find that hilarious video.
How many get the hotdog on the court reference?
I remember watching that game on TV from the Convo. Can't recall who it was against, Mason or VCU, Mason I think though. Someone threw a hotdog on the court and JMU got hit with a Technical Foul which wound up messing up the flow of the Dukes and cost them the game.

Was kinda funny when it happened but the outcome was bad.

I know you brought it up as something funny, but that is different than playing a game at a neutral site. In a home game the school can be held accountable by the officials, not so at a neutral site. Totally impossible to know who is a fan of who and then penalize their team.
