The first half has seen UAB look about as expected with Ohio having more experience and greater speed, but UAB is adjusting to some extent as the game is played. The penalty situation has been the main disappointment with critical personal foul calls allowing Ohio to maintain drives. On its first drive, Ohio looked to be much better than the Blazers, but that difference has diminished as the team adjusted and raised its level of play.
